Rosie Ledet takes Zydeco by the scruff of its neck and drags it into the 21st Century. Zydeco is a wonderful musical form - funky, danceable and with cultural and musical roots deeply embedded in Louisiana's melting pot. Some great exponents of Zydeco - Fernest Arceneaux, Al Rapone and Rocking Sidney have recorded for JSP - now it's the turn of a new generation. Rosie has a bunch of fresh ideas and the ability to take them to a wider audience.
