Amor Profano is the 'sequel' to the 2007 release Amor Sacro. The disc focuses on Vivaldi opera arias. The disc features arias from Orlando Furioso, Griselda, Semiramide, Tito Manilo, L'Olympiade, as well as Sinfonia from Il Bajazet played by the orchestra.

The repertiore for this disc was chosen for one reason... to show off Simone Kermes baroque opera specialist, and she succeeds wonderfully.
